"The apartment on the border", as the architects of the Nova Gorica
Kreadom called it, is located in the Stella building (Zvezda) on the border between Slovenia and Italy. The complex was conceived by the architects Sadar + Vuga. The living spaces of this penthouse open with their vast glass surfaces towards the terrace which represents the extension of the living space.
The design of the interior accentuates the prestigious location. The living room located, near the entrance, is adorned with a monumental fireplace next to a sofa by
Edra , well known for comfort, quality, excellent materials and advanced technology. The sofa designer, Francesco Binfaré, has created perfectly ergonomic “smart” cushions.
On the opposite side of the entrance, the visitor enters the hall where the padded sofas by
Saba attract the view: two armchairs and a two-seater sofa. Made of two different colored materials, leather and fabric, which allow to create various color combinations.
The dining room isseparated from the kitchen by a glass door, the table (
Porro) is made of thin aluminum, despite its size, it makes the feeling extremely light. The elegant and ergonomic chairs "Hola" (
Cassina) in white and dark blue match the big table.
The living room is furnished with the Reef sofa, consisting of modular elements that allow the creation of multiple sectional solutions. it is possible to sit on both parts of the backrest. Private spaces, on the other hand, fascinate for their high quality sanitary ceramics (
Antonio Lupi): above all the freestanding bathtub, which is a real masterpiece thanks to its elegant and harmonious shape.
The outdoor space is dedicated to relaxation stop at the house next door. It has been adequately protected with a thick green dividing wall which is at the same time a perfect decoration of the exotic wood terrace.
Home wellness is further proof of the penthouse's high-level living quality, comparable to a small single-family house. Living comfort is guaranteed by the location of the house itself, away from the daily bustle and oriented towards three sides of the sky.
The location has been ingeniously improved by the architects with the arrangement of the spaces and the use of glass doors to divide the space and it allows light to penetrate the premises. Another distinctive feature of the penthouse is the minimalism of the interior design and the choice of color tones, quality materials and refined furnishings, including many masterpieces of modern Italian design.
